New Haircuts for Genevieve and Ella

Erin took 3-4 inches off of Genevieve's hair and she kept saying "Mama, no, you cannot cut all of my hair off".
Ella cried a lot and would not sit still.

Mom and Dad, Andy, Erin, Genevieve and Ella all joined the Relay for Life walk for at least a little bit. Genevieve and her buddy rode in the wagon for a while then she walked one lap with Erin. It was a very emotional event that I was very excited to be apart of. Thank you to everyone who helped donate. Counting all of the survivors and non-survivors in our family and lives is intimidating. We'll keep working for a cure!

Grandpa Klein was the designated bedtime story guy one night. Ella brought him book after book and she found a new best friend who would read all the books to her in the world! She was sad when he went home.

We found some fun High School Muscial slippers at Fred Meyers that were perfect for the girls. They LOVE their shoes and kept on wearing Grandma Klein's slippers so we decided to get them their own.

Ella is a bit of a ham. She sees the camera now and tries to hide from it, but she did settle down for a second for a picture with Grandma!

Grandma Klein had fun playing with the Grandkids. They loved her to and all the undivided attention they got! Genevieve is starting to realize that it really is Grandma on the phone and taht she has more than one. She is asking if it is Grandma Jo or New Grandma, New Grandma because my mom brought the girls' new Crocs with her.

Erin has always enjoyed being part of a team and this summer the girls' daycare provider has a softball team that needed players so Erin decided she could join. Let's just say, some people are meant to play, others are meant to just watch and cheer.....

Grandma Klein brought some bubble fun with her for the girls. It was a great distraction while we cleaned clams and made supper. Genevieve has Pooh and Ella has Tigger.

We have Genevieve in a soccer program called "Little Feet" for 3-5 year olds. We got her new soccer shoes, shin gaurds, soccer socks, and a little Nike outfit to wear and the first day of soccer she wouldn't leave Andy's side. She clung to him for dear life and wouldn't let go. She wouldn't even look at the coach and ended up playin on the playground instead. As the practices go, she participates for the first 20 mins and then wanders off kicking her ball. The coach scoups her up and takes her from center to center with him. It's cute, but wish she'd be a little more into it! Maybe next year. What motivates her now is that Ella can't go because she is too little and only Genevieve can go. Sibling love!

The garage has proven to be a huge blessing. The girls love riding their tricycle, riding in their wagon, pushing strollers, and just running in it. It is a great thing to have when it is raining or too cold to play outside.

Although Ella is little she has a big personality. We're starting to discover that you don't want to make her mad...

Andy and Erin had their 6th wedding anniversary on June 7th. They spent the day fishing off and on and then going to dinner at Land's End.

We went for ice cream out on the spit while my parents were here and then for a walk on the beach. It was a gorgeous night and hard to believe by looking, but it was after nine when the picture was taken.

Here are some wild hair of the Oxford girls. They love washing their own hair, they just don't like washing it out!

Its a lot harder than it looks!

Grandpa Klein got the hang of clamming. He got a good eye for finding the clam dimple and was a pro with the clamming gun. He and Grandma Klein even helped clean all of the clams! Grandpa Klein tried the clams fried, but Grandma just tolerated the smell!

Andy, Genevieve, Ella, Amos and Grandma Klein played on the beach while Erin and Grandpa Klein began the clamming process. You've gotta love getting dirty.
